I think somewhere it is written that in order to sound important you should type all of your bio info in the 3rd person as if you are not writing it yourself and you have a team of people handling that kind of thing. I have no team. It’s just me! So Hi There! My name is Matt Wahl. I’m a performing songwriter originally from Eau Claire, WI (about 90 miles due East of Minneapolis, MN) now living on Fort Belvoir in Northern Virginia (about 15 miles south of Washington DC.) My wife’s name is Cynthia. She is a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and is stationed at the Pentagon. And our son is Eric. He is almost 20 months old and he is the world’s foremost authority on turning a perfectly clean room into a disaster area in 2.7 seconds! For the last 10 years I’ve been making my living playing a guitar and singing for people. With my music I’ve gotten to travel to wonderful places and meet tons of fantastic folks. I’ve released 6 CDs of original music on my own record label, Open Road Records and my latest release, Sunny Side Up is a live double disc recorded at the beautiful John D. MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach, FL. So that’s just a bit about me.
